HHC Officially Endorses H.R. 676

The Board of Directors of the Hispanic Health Coalition officially endorses H.R. 676, “The United States National Health Insurance Act (Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act).”

This bill provides all individuals residing in the United States and its territories comprehensive health care coverage. All medically necessary care would be provided, such as primary care and prevention, prescription drugs, emergency care, mental health and substance abuse services, long term care, chiropractic, hearing, vision and dental services. No deductibles, co-payments, co-insurance, or other cost-sharing will be required.

The HHC will also cosponsor the upcoming workshop on Health Care Reform which is being sponsored by Health Care for All Texas on Feb. 7 from 9a-1p at the Covenant Baptist Church on 4949 Caroline, Houston TX, 77004. Please consider joining us in endorsing this bill and promoting awareness about this most vital issue facing all Americans today.
